Director and Executive Producer
Genevieve made her directing debut in 1990 with White Dwarf at the Playwright's Center in Chicago, to rave reviews. Critics said, "Genevieve Morrill's staging lovingly sustains the play through all its emotional twists" and "she keeps characters alive and the story moving..." The following year she directed Fragments from the Permanent Collection by Michael Brayndick. She directed Vanities at The Cultural Playhouse in New York among others, and executive produced events and performances for various companies and organizations, including Los Angeles: A World Premiere with Diana Ross at Radio City Music Hall in New York, and 1996 POW WOW Los Angeles. She founded Persona Studios in 1992 when she produced Sally & Marsha at The Empty Space Theater in Seattle. Genevieve founded Books with Feet in 2007 and premiered their first season at The West Hollywood Book Fair.

Genevieve studied extensively at Lee Strasberg Theatre Insititute New York from 1980 to 1984, with Kyle Donnelly in Chicago, Lynn Babcock in Minneapolis and Judy Pioli Askins in Los Angeles.

Producer

Rebecca’s producing credits include the first season of Books with Feet, as well as Baby's First Sketch Show, which incorporated short films into a live sketch comedy format. Such films include Demon Hubby, Lost, Obese Rich Kid Round-Up and Real World: Smurf Village that can all be seen on YouTube or Atom.com.  She also co-produced the short film Unconventional Habits: The Sister Mary Sarah O'Reilly Story with writer/director Julia Diddy. She wrote her most recent short film, Decode-A-Mate, and continues to perform long-form improv at The Second City in Hollywood.

Producer

Back in the day, Emily DeRenzis was the most famous producer on the 900 block of Washington Avenue in the cut-throat industry that existed in Mason City, Iowa. She is perhaps most greatly remembered for the solo shows she wrote, produced, directed and starred in daily-all while wearing roller skates. She single-handedly created the vibrant theatre scene that still lives on in the neighborhood today. When she was not creating, she was perfecting and could often be found in the lilac bush in her back yard writing, re-writing and repeatedly rehearsing scenes with her Barbies. Those girls would work all day for her as Emily's artistry and creative vision were truly something to behold. After years of doing it all on her own, Emily decided to move to New York City and let someone else do all the work. She focused on her acting career and that eventually moved her out to Los Angeles. After years of being away from producing, Emily is very happy to back in the saddle with Books with Feet. Now, if she could only find those Barbies...

Stacy Glazer

Associate Producer

Stacy’s passion for the arts and belief in the importance of local theatre are paramount to Stacy’s personal philosophy.  She is a graduate of bang. Improv Conservatory and the Second City Conservatory.  After almost 20 years in catering and special events, in 2008 she launched sgfnb, a special event, and meetings consulting business.  Stacy loves to laugh and is so proud to be a part of Books With Feet.

Jennifer Herrera
Associate Producer
With extensive experience in both New York and Los Angeles, Ms. Herrera has notable experience in Live Theatre and Large Scale Special Events.  Having spent ten years in New York managing and producing Broadway, Off-Broadway and Touring productions, she was part of the General Management team for 2001-2003 productions of Madison Square Garden's A Christmas Carol, the largest union theatrical production in the United States.  At Lincoln Center Theatre she worked on productions of Rose, Contact, Marie Christine, Morning, Noon & Night, Ancestral Voices, The Time Of The Cuckoo and Ten Unknowns. Ms. Herrera managed the NY Premiere of Anne Devlin's Ourselves Alone, the 30th Anniversary Off-Broadway revival of Godspell, the Off-Broadway hit, The Donkey Show and Harley Davidson's 100th Anniversary Open Road Tour as well as implemented promotional initiatives for Victor/Victoria, Titanic, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, The Weir, Kat and The Kings, Swing!, Stomp and the Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS All Star concert of Chess.  After relocating to Los Angeles, Ms. Herrera was the General Manager for The Ten Commandments starring Val Kilmer as well as the Interim Production Manager for Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre overseeing numerous productions, including the 2005 Academy Awards.  Her time at the Kodak segued her career into large scale events, supervising event production at the Pacific Design Center including Elton John’s 2006 Oscar Party and producing premiers, award shows, galas, screenings and numerous other events for Hollywood & Highland and Warner Bros. Studios.
